Jean Gorrindo hails from the Central Coast of California, living in a little coastal town near San Luis Obispo called Los Osos. She began calling quite some time ago at the encouragement of Jim and Amber Mueller of the Growling Old Geezers, Arroyo Grande, and Michael Gutin of Santa Barbara. During the past few years she extended her calling sphere and started branching out to other dances in California. The more she called, the more she really liked it and got better at it, and now she desires to expand her horizons to other parts of the United States!
Her strong teaching and musical skills help her deliver dances that are flowing, challenging, and fun! She has a particular knack for collecting dances with exceptional choreography designed to enhance the connectedness between us all. In her mind, that feeling of connection is what it is all about! She is extremely excited and very honored to be one of the callers for the very first Catapult Showcase!
